The Flute
The flute has been around since time began. It is one of the oldest instruments known to mankind. Basic flutes were made from bamboo or wood. It produces an earthy tone and is a versatile instrument. It is easy to carry.
Why play the flute?
The flute produces light airy notes which are hard to replicate. It is an elegant instrument and a practical instrument to play. Notes are similar to the recorder so they can be learnt quite easily. It requires no transposition when playing with other people. In short,It is a beautiful and versatile instrument.
